From the left sidebar, open Brand Kit to add custom styles and images from your company's branding.

Anything available to the brand kit is automatically available to everyone in your workspace, so make sure you're including assets which have broad appeal.

There are three types of customizations you can import today: Logo, Colors, and Backgrounds.

Logo

Dark and light logos will appear based on browser-level preferences selected. We recommend setting both for flexibility. Logos support multiple resolutions, but we recommend full width versions (like a 5:1 aspect ratio, instead of a 1:1 square) that's under 100 KB for best results. Both logos should be visually consistent, because it's possible for a user to see both across the app and playback links.

The dark mode version will also appear on the title screen for embedded players configured to show extended details.

Colors

Add brand colors. Once set, interactive elements like CTA buttons will use your primary color on shared story pages and embedded video players. These use cases will expand in the future, so it's helpful to add your complete brand colors in the meantime.

Backgrounds

These will appear as background images for cards in your story, similar to slides in a presentation. Keep in mind that these will typically be partially covered by either the narrator or recorded content layers of your story.

Where do brand kit assets appear in Rally?

When editing a story layout, you will find a new Style > Brand Kit for selecting background images and colors.

Have something else in mind? We plan to expand the brand kit to include more options like fonts, to help you create familiar product videos which match your company vibe.
