How to use embeds to make your product video act like a GIF

If you have a feature or workflow to show, a looping video embed is an easy way to present it. Basically, it works just like a GIF but with a higher quality and faster load time because it's a video.

Embed settings for looping video

Open the story you want to embed, then go to Share โ†’ Embed Story.

You will then see a few options to control how the embedded story will appear. Turn the following settings on before copying the embed code:

  1. Autoplay, so the embed will immediately start playing when the page loads.

  2. Muted, so it's silent and doesn't startle anyone with random sounds.

  3. Loop, so the embed will restart from the beginning once it reaches the end of the video.

Turn all other settings off, which will hide the extra video player UI and keep your embed nice and clean.

Don't worry: These settings only affect the current embed code copied. Existing embeds you've already made with different settings won't change.
