Spaces are a collaborative page for working with customers and prospects. When navigating the sales process, they act as "deal rooms" and host all of the details you need to answer product questions, align on to-do's, and get new stakeholders up to speed.

They are targeted to a specific audience, and customizable -- making them a great companion to your existing public documentation and marketing website.

Spaces can be linked to customer accounts. You can create multiple spaces for the same account if you have complex deals (for example, selling to multiple groups within the same company or onboarding their end users after the sale).

Adding content to your space

Content within a space is broken down into blocks. You can add and rearrange blocks to make sure your pitch unfolds in the right way, while also giving buyers direct access to answers and next steps needed to move the deal along.

In most cases, you'll reuse existing content from your team's library to make new spaces. After creating your space, use the Insert button to open a menu with your content options. These range from stories, third party integrations for existing content (including contracts, documents, and embeds), and enablement from your team library.

Templates

If you have specific presentations you give often, templates give you a fast way to spin up deal rooms for dozens of customers in no time.

You can find existing templates via Spaces β†’ Templates or create a new one from an existing space via the dropdown in the top navigation.

Mutual Action Plans

Sometimes you need to coordinate specific tasks with your customers -- signing contracts, sharing internal objectives, etc. In these cases, use action plans to give everyone clear visibility into where the deal stands.

Action plans can be assigned to either organization, or specific people (think: technical, legal reviews) so there's no ambiguity. Target dates included.

Reviewing activity

Once you publish and share a space, you can keep track of activity via the Account view or through the analytics panel. These will give you insights into which content your stakeholders have seen, and where they seem most engaged (down to the slide).

By inviting your buyers to the space directly, you can also see where each has spent time already and use this to instruct your next touchpoint.
